Ball Handling Challenge

New this Summer!

The RFGBA Wildcat Summer Ball Handling Challenge is a free program open to all RFGBA players 1st through 8th grade. The goal is to encourage girls to work on individual ball handling skills over the Summer. Completion of this challenge will require setting goals, tracking progress, hard work and dedication.

Players have from June 11th to September 30th to complete 500 or 1000 minutes of ball handling drills. The link below includes suggested ball handling workouts and drills. New workouts and drills will be added throughout the Summer. 50 ten minute workouts equals 500 minutes. 67 fifteen minute workouts equals 1000 minutes.

Players who complete the 500 minute challenge receive a Wildcat Summer Ball Handling Challenge T-shirt. Players who complete 1000 minutes will receive the T-shirt and a basketball necklace. Players who complete either challenge level will be recognized in front of the home town crowd at half-time of a RFHS Girls Varsity game. Most importantly, players who have completed this challenge have significantly improved their basketball handling skills.
